This shop does not exist in the Harry Potter universe; it was invented by our prop designers to display plants that feature prominently in the books and films. Its name is derived from another vendor of dangerous plant life, the florist in the musical "Little Shop of Horrors."

Mandrake
Mandrakes are an actual plant whose branched roots are sometimes said
to resemble a human figure. However, while Hermione cites mandragora as
"a powerful restorative," all parts of the mandrake are actually poisonous.
